Hillary Hanel Rose, “Rosie the History Teacher,” is an experienced professional in the fields of museum work and education. She lives in Southeast Michigan with her husband and two Siberian Huskies. She is passionate about history and science and making those topics exciting and relevant to students. Her qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, History, Biology, and Museum Studies from Central Michigan University.
  • Has been part of a Guinness World Record for largest gathering of Rosie the Riveters, twice.
  • Master of Arts in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester.
  • Has won an award for “Bravery” after jumping off a waterfall while student teaching in the Dominican Republic.
  • 9+ years of experience working with museums such as:
